Happiness and inner joy

Happiness is an inside job. This could not be more true. Happiness is something we have to find within. I know this from my own experience over the years. Money, materialistic things and external factors were all CAUSES for happiness.

Inner joy is felt when we look within and work on our traumas and heal from them. We cannot experience inner joy if we are always at war with our minds. Easier said then done right? Of course and it takes practice to work on yourself.

Happiness is something we all have within us. I would ask, what makes you happy, like truly happy? How do you feel day by day? Has something triggered you today? Being happy is not just a state of mind, its more then just a feeling, but its about consistency.

In order to feel and be happy daily, we need to do what brings us daily inner joy. Even in challenging times, if we stay present, appreciate and be grateful for our lives in that moment, we will then encounter happiness on a very different level.

To be happy, you must help yourself first. Inner conflict and negative emotions are a reflection of something that needs our attention within. Happy people don’t go around trying to hurt others, belittle or make anyone feel not worthy. Happy people want to see other succeed and are happy for them.

Projection is perception. If we perceive something to be negative we project that out and then ultimately bring it into our lives. To be happy you got to start with yourself and your wellbeing first. Once you are at peace then that is when happiness occurs.
