THE ART OF RELAXING

Relaxing is as simple as putting your feet up and letting go isn’t it? Not quite! Sometimes we find ourselves with lots to do, mundane tasks to complete and lots of things in the diary. But when do we find time for ourselves? maybe when its too late in the day? It so important to fit in a bit of ‘me time’ daily to keep you feeling balanced, focused and motivated.

Relaxing is simply doing nothing or something that helps you feel calm, switched off from every day life and at peace. It is important to relax energetically, mentally, emotionally and physically and choose whats right for you to do when it comes to relaxation.

Here are some ideas:

Energetically: meditation, healing your energy by releasing others energy and your own worries  (tapping on the higher heart chakra – thymus gland)

Emotionally: release emotions by practicing EFT (emotional freedom tapping), Reiki healing, watching a good film, positive affirmations

Mentally: meditation, listening to soothing music, doing something you enjoy thats fun, sleep, art work or hobbies

Physically: exercise, dancing your day away, massage, holistic therapies, breathwork

‘To relax is to completely switch off and focus on you’

When we relax, we are more positive, surrender more and feel lighter. We also approach things differently. We change our perspectives and reactions which ultimately causes us to behave and feel differently. Relaxing also creates more positive wellbeing, insight and reduces stress, anxiety and illness because we are giving ourselves the chance to restore and repair ourselves.

By relaxing we allow ourselves to be more present and appreciate the moment with gratitude and love. We cannot feel fear with the vibration of love. We cannot feel anger or worry with the vibration of love. The love energy is felt through stillness and relaxation. Relaxing is key to becoming more aware, more self-sufficient and healed.

To relax, we must understand what we intuively feel we need to do to relax and how does it help us FEEL in the moment that we do? Everything will align with ease when we take a step back and relax. Asking your relaxed self what is it that works for me and keep up the consistency with this.

When you relax, you will go with the flow, feel more positive and calm. The more you practice feeling relaxed and putting things in place to do so, the more it will become second nature. Just remember that you do deserve to feel good and have what you want in your life. You just need to have the belief that you are worthy of being supported and cared for even if its you being your own hero. Everyone deserves me time and relaxation. Relaxing will help to soothe your mind, body and soul.
