The Power of Positive Thinking

The Power of Positive Thinking

Positive thinking is one of the quickest ways to feel good. It can be a challenge though in trying times. Positive thinking is aligning your thoughts with your best and highest good. It is about seeing the best in your mind of any situation and outcome. To become more positive it is essential to address your self-limiting beliefs before constructing positive affirmations to re program your mind.

If you think a certain way, it takes working on your belief system as well as re programming your mind to shift your mindset and this can take 21 days to 60 days depending on how deep rooted the subconscious thought is. Positive thinking is about focusing on the good. Using positive thinking daily will change your reality too because what you put out in your thoughts returns back to you in experiences.

To start positive thinking start daily with positive statements that are easy to say and believe:

‘I can be confident’

‘I am capable of doing my best’

‘I choose to believe I am worthy’

If we start with I AM on things that our mind doesnt agree with like ‘I am confident’ when you are not, it won’t be as effective doing affirmations. Changing the language you use so your mind cannot question the statement is key. Once you have trained your mind to believe in what you want then you can shift the phrase to ‘I AM’. Our minds are programmed to look for the negative so is important we are aware of our thoughts and language.

On a day to day basis, become consciously aware of your language and thoughts. Are you speaking and thinking negatively? challenge those ones. The most challenging thoughts will be self limiting beliefs. Once those beliefs are established you can change the neurological pathway in the mind to get to the root causes of your thought patterns which likely stem from childhood.

The more you repeat positive phrases that work, the quicker you will re program your mind so keeping up the consistancy daily even when you are feeling good and don’t feel the need to do positive affirmations (statements) it it key to still do them to keep the flow going. Positive thinking boosts your immune system because of the positive energy flow through the mind. The mind has the strongest influence over the body and emotions and negative thoughts create negative emotions, which in turn can affect our health.

Our thoughts are like mini manfestations- the thought attached with an emotion creates the physical reality. The affects of positive thinking are:

  • Better health
  • Feeling alot brighter- reducing depression and anxiety
  • Manifesting quicker
  • Feeling in alignment and more confident
  • Increased wellbeing

Ways to be more positive are:

  • Affirmations
  • Gratitude journalling
  • Positive self-talk
  • Inner work- meditation and healing
  • Self-love practices

The more you put positive thinking as a priority, the better your life will get because you will always find a solution not a problem 🙂
